About Elizabeth Seckler LCSW, MSW
Elizabeth Seckler works with clients to identify areas of change and personal growth. With 15 years of direct clinical experience, Elizabeth strives to provide a space where clients can feel emotionally safe and valued.

Elizabeth, is licensed in Connecticut and
New York and has extensive experience providing psychotherapy and consultation services to children, adults and families.
​
Elizabeth is a IFS Level 2 clinician and completed basic EMDR training.
In private practice, Elizabeth Seckler provides treatment for clients specializing in addressing maternal mental health, grief and loss, anxiety, depression and trauma.
With a compassionate and client-centered approach, Elizabeth works collaboratively with individuals and couples to explore their unique experiences and navigate through life's ups and downs.

Elizabeth received her BA in Psychology from Boston College and a Masters from NYU School of Social Work. Clinical internships included working with patients suffering from depressive disorders, substance abuse, grief and chronic illness.

Professionally, Elizabeth has worked in residential, hospital and private practice settings. Previous work at Mount Sinai’s Elmhurst Hospital Center, included providing individual, group and family therapy to hundreds of patients. Areas treatment included anxiety and depressive disorders, behavioral management, family conflict, grief/loss, chronic illness, and trauma.
